Life after Christmas

"Before"
This storage area in the basement will become
a playroom, hopefully by late February.Nate takes a spin at our friends' the Lindleys.
Eating the gingerbread house.
Nate put a pretty big dent in his half.

Merry Christmas!!

Our happy little elves. A few favorite gifts:
A "real" cash register. (Yes, she takes credit cards.)
Her very own tricyle. (Yes, it quacks.)
The long-awaited big boy bike. (Yes, he is always this cute.)

Getting Ready for Christmas

Kate's first taste of egg nog. "Yum yum."
Sweet-tooth Nate gobbles up his cookie and egg nog while we decorate the tree.

Singing Like an Angel (and a Shepherd)

Tonight was our children's choir Christmas program at church.
Meg sang every note!! (unlike all previous performances when
she looked like either a deer in the headlights or a spectator who was
mistakenly on the stage instead of in the pews.) It was Nate's
first program and he also did a great job. Hurray!
(sorry some shots are blurry; our camera was on the wrong setting)

Call Us the Grizzwalds

Ok, so our lights don't blow circuit breakers, spell words, or
even blink. But Erik was careening atop a 30 foot ladder
(propped on the front steps), power tool in hand,
to install them. They look great! (And no trips to the ER!)
